Jazz show to benefit library
From the Press Enterprise August 24, 2011

A jazz concert set for early October will benefit the Murrieta Public Library.

The Murrieta Public Library Foundation and the Friends of the Murrieta Library will present Jazz at the Garden, a show featuring the duo Hart and Soul. The concert and a reception will benefit the library's programs and collection.

The event is set for Oct. 2 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Murrieta Public Library, Eight Town Square, Murrieta.

Hart and Soul's Jennifer Hart, vocalist, and Llew Matthews, pianist-arranger-composer, perform at jazz festivals, restaurants and clubs throughout Southern California, including Jazz at the Merc in Temecula. Hart sings standards, jazz, contemporary, pop, country and gospel. Matthews, who has been Nancy Wilson's musical director since 1987, is a composer and pianist.

Tickets for the event are $50 for premium seating and $30 for concert seating. They are available at www.murrietalibraryfoundation.org.

Event tickets and opportunity drawing tickets also are available at the Friends of the Murrieta Library bookstores: Town Square Bookstore, Eight Town Square, 951-600-5724 (outside Library entrance) and Corner Bookstore, 39445 Los Alamos Road, 951-677-5350.
